Course Description:This 12 week course examines the historical development and structural polity of the United Church of Christ.
Participants successfully completing this course will have a grasp of the essential elements of UCC history, governance and structure, and theological foundations. They will also be introduced to emerging trends in the UCC. The course engages participants through printed and video resource and webinars. There is a combination of individual and group assignments. The instructor and support faculty are available to all participants individually throughout the class. This course meets the customary requirements for history and polity requirements for securing authorized ministry in the UCC.
